Savios Art

Savios Art is located in Andheri East. We are at number 22 in Church Pakhadi which is a bit of a tucked away area. The building is Miranda Ho and it is on Hari Shankar Joshi Road. It is an interesting part of Andheri because it feels a bit different from the main commercial areas. Our space is filled with all sorts of art supplies and unfinished pieces leaning against the walls. It is not the most organized place in the world but that is how we like it. There are brushes in jars and the smell of paint is usually pretty strong. We spend our time working on different projects and sometimes people from the neighborhood drop by just to see what is new. The light coming through the windows is good for working during the day. We have been here for a bit and have gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. Hari Shankar Joshi Road can get busy with cars and bikes but our corner stays relatively peaceful. It is a small setup and we do most of the work ourselves. We do not have a big marketing team or a fancy gallery. It is just a place where art happens and where we spend most of our waking hours trying to finish whatever is on the easel or the table. It is a simple life centered around the work we do in this small corner of Mumbai.
