Satyam Gallery

We are located over in Matunga East, right on L N Road. It is a bit of a different vibe compared to the rest of Mumbai. Things feel a little more settled here, maybe because of all the old trees and the schools nearby. Our place, Satyam Gallery, is one of those spots that people just stumble upon while they are out for a walk. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the shelves and making sure everything is where it should be. The morning is usually the best part of the day because it is relatively quiet before the school buses and the traffic start picking up. We get a lot of regulars who live in the nearby apartment blocks. They usually stop in just to say hello or see what is new. We don't have any big corporate systems or fancy technology here. It’s mostly just us using a ledger and keeping track of things by hand. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage to make it work. The light coming in through the front door is nice in the afternoons, though it can get a bit hot. We have been part of the Matunga community for a while now, and we have seen kids grow up and start coming in as adults. It is just a regular life here on L N Road, nothing too complicated about it.
