Sat-Karam Foundation

Our office is located in Malad East, right on Film City Road. We are in the Sankalp III CHSL building. It’s a residential society, so it has a very neighborly feel to it. We are on the second floor in flat 204. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but it’s not too bad. Being near Film City means the road outside is always packed with cars and bikes. There is a lot going on in this part of Malad. We’ve been in this flat for a while now. It’s just a standard room where we have our computers and some chairs for people to sit. It’s not a big corporate space at all. It feels more like a home office. We do our best to keep things running smoothly. Some days are quieter than others, especially when there isn't much filming going on nearby. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people from the building and handling our daily tasks. The walls are a bit thin, so we can hear the neighbors sometimes, but that’s just how it is in these societies. We like being part of a residential community because it feels more personal. Most of the work we do is just paperwork and making sure everything is filed correctly in our cabinets. There’s always someone coming by to drop off a letter or just to say hello to the staff.
