If you’re looking for the Satark Samaj Foundation, we are located in Dadar. Specifically, we are on the second floor of a building called Umesh Dham. Dadar is always crowded and busy, so there is never a dull moment around our office. We have a simple setup here on the second floor. It’s just a few rooms where we manage everything. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, which we don't mind at all. It’s a practical place to be because Dadar is so central. We don't have any big corporate logos or fancy glass walls. It’s just Satark Samaj Foundation written on a small sign. Most of us take the local train or buses to get here since parking in Dadar is a nightmare. Our office is a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and folders, but we make it work. It feels like a real community space rather than some cold business office. We’ve been at Umesh Dham for a while now and the neighbors are used to us being around. It’s just a group of people in a room trying to do something useful for the community every day. Mumbai can be tough, but we like our little corner of it.
