Sanskruti Time Company

We started Sanskruti Time Company here in Parel East quite a few years back. It is tucked away on the third floor of the Rangoli Time Complex on Dr. Ambedkar Road. Most people find us because they need a battery changed or an old wall clock looked at. It is just a small space really, with tools scattered around and watches everywhere you look. Working with clocks takes a lot of patience, and the light in this building is usually okay for the fine work. We spend most of our days opening up cases and blowing out dust. Sometimes the parts are so tiny you can barely see them. Parel has changed a lot lately, but we are still here doing the same thing we always did. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic on the main road, but inside the shop, it stays quiet except for the ticking sounds. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just drop by when their watch stops or if they need a strap replaced. It’s practical work. We keep track of the time for everyone in the neighborhood. Some days are busier than others, especially when the humidity gets to the old mechanical movements. We just keep at it, one gear at a time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. If you’re walking past the complex, you might see our sign. We're just regular people working here, trying to keep things running on time.
