Sankalp Arts

Sankalp Arts is located at 139 in the Madhani Estate. We are on S Bapat Marg in Dadar West, over in the Mehunpura area. The estate is an old industrial kind of place with many different workshops. Our space is filled with art supplies, frames, and half-finished projects. It is a bit cluttered, but that is how we work best. We have been in Dadar for quite some time now. The street outside is always full of trucks and people moving goods. Inside, we just focus on the creative side of things. There are usually three or four of us working here at any given time. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably find us with paint or glue on our hands. We do a lot of custom work for people who want something specific made. It takes time and sometimes we run behind schedule, but we try to get it done. The lighting in the workshop isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps for the detailed parts. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It helps keep us going through the long afternoons. People find us through word of mouth mostly. We don't really do any big promotions. It's just a small art shop in a busy part of the city. We like being part of the Madhani Estate and seeing what the other shops are making too. It keeps the day interesting for everyone here.
