If you’re looking for Samrudh Bharat Social Welfare Foundation, we are up on the third floor of the Titanic Building. It’s right on Chandivalifarm Road, very close to the HDFC Bank branch here in Andheri East. Most people know the bank, so it’s easy to find us once you get to that corner. The building has been here for a while and has that old Andheri feel to it. It gets quite noisy outside with all the cars and bikes, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of our time just managing things from our desks. There’s no big reception desk or someone in a uniform waiting for you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We have a few windows that look out toward the street, but mostly we’re focused on the tasks at hand. Working in Andheri East means there is never a dull moment. There are always people moving around and new shops opening up. We try to keep things simple in the office. We don't have fancy furniture, just what we need to stay organized. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving. It’s a practical space for practical people. We don't really bother with corporate stuff; we just show up and do what’s required.
