Sai Soham Art Gallery

We run Sai Soham Art Gallery from the Sangam building, unit A-5. It is on the Juhu Versova Link Road in Andheri West, right near the HDFC Bank. If you know the area, it is quite a busy stretch of road. We have a small space where we keep different pieces of art. It’s not like those big, cold museums. It’s more of a cozy spot where things are leaning against walls or tucked into corners. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who like looking at art and talking to people about it. Some days nobody comes in, and we just spend the time dusting the frames or rearranging things. Other days, it’s quite lively. The traffic on the Link Road can be loud, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of cars passing by. We aren't trying to be the most famous gallery in Mumbai. We just want to have a place where art can be seen without a lot of fuss. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the lighting is a bit temperamental sometimes. But the art is what matters. We’ve been at A-5 Sangam for a bit now and it feels like the right place for us. It’s simple, it’s local, and it’s where Sai Soham Art Gallery lives. We drink a lot of coffee while waiting for visitors.
