Sahayadri Arts

You can find Sahayadri Arts on the 3rd floor of Mapla House, which is building number 13/21. We are located in the Mo Fort area over in Tavarekere. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs since it’s an old building, but we like the light up here. We do a lot of different things related to art and design. Sometimes it’s just printing small cards, and other times we are working on bigger projects. The space is usually messy with bits of paper, ink bottles, and half-finished drawings. We don't have a big sales team. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. We started this because we liked making things by hand. The neighborhood is quite busy, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s a bit quieter. We spend our hours at the desks, looking at colors and layouts. People come to us when they need something that looks a bit more personal than what a big shop would do. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who know Mapla House and just walk up the stairs. We use some old machines and a couple of computers to get the jobs done. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we prefer it that way. Every project is a bit different, and we just figure it out as we go along.
