Rutu Arts

Rutu Arts has been sitting here at 3, Nilratna Society for a good while now. We are on Tenth Road in Santracruz (E), which is usually pretty busy with people heading to the station or just out running errands. It’s not a big fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by stuff we are working on. We don’t really do big ads or anything like that. People mostly just stop by because they live in the neighborhood or heard about us from a neighbor. Santracruz (E) can be quite a squeeze during rush hour, but we like it here. The building isn't new, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool while we deal with the daily tasks. If you are walking down 10th Road, you’ll see our door. It’s just us doing our thing day in and day out. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when it's busy, things get a bit messy on the desks. That is just how it goes when you're actually working. We have been in this spot at Nilratna for years and know the tea stall guy and the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like home. There is always something to do, whether it's sorting out orders or just cleaning up. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a basic office.
