Royal Art is tucked away in Kandivali West, up on the fourth floor of the Om Geetanjali building. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but we like it that way. It stays a bit quieter up here compared to the street level. We spend our days working on different projects, and sometimes the place gets a bit messy with materials and tools lying around. That’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Kandivali is a busy part of town, so being in Om Geetanjali gives us a bit of a breather. We don't have a front desk person or a lobby with fancy chairs. Usually, someone is just working at a table and will look up when the door opens. It’s a very practical space. We do our own thing and don't worry too much about what other shops are doing. People who come to see us are usually looking for something specific, and we just talk through what they need. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us who have a knack for this kind of work. We aren't big on meetings or long emails; we’d rather just get to work on the pieces. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we don't mind the wait. It’s just part of being in an older building in this neighborhood. It is where we end up spending most of our time, so we’ve gotten quite comfortable with the place.
