I'm based out of the Dheeraj Pooja Building, which is right by the Chincho Malad West bus stand. If you know where Infant Jesus High School is, then you're basically there already. It’s a busy spot with students and parents walking by all the time, especially in the mornings and mid-afternoons when school lets out. I’ve been working from this location for a bit now. My space isn't very large, but it serves the purpose. I usually have my desk cluttered with papers and my phone is usually ringing while I'm trying to finish something else. It's just how things go when you're running your own thing like this. The building has its own rhythm, and you get to know the neighbors after a while. I spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people who walk in with questions. It’s not always glamorous, and some days are just about catching up on emails and filing things away. I try to keep things simple here. I don’t have a big team or anything, just me handling the daily tasks as they come. Sometimes the bus noise from outside gets a bit loud, but it’s part of the Malad atmosphere. People often use the school as a landmark to find me, which helps because the building name sometimes gets missed in the crowd. It’s a practical setup in a part of town that never really stops moving. It feels like home after a while of being here every day. (258 words)
