Response Family Shop

Response Family Shop is located at Shop No 6 in the Kaju Pipe Line Lane, right near the Zari Mari area on Alandi Road in Kurla West. It is a small neighborhood shop that has been around for a bit. The lane outside is usually quite crowded with people walking to the station or heading home after work. We keep the shop open from morning until late evening, and it is usually just a few of us behind the counter. The shelves are filled with all sorts of things that families in the Kurla area might need on a daily basis. It is not a big supermarket with bright lights; it is more of a local spot where we know many of our customers by their first names. Sometimes the stock takes up too much space and we have to move things around just to stand comfortably. The noise from Alandi Road is always there in the background, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the items and talking to the people who stop by to pick up something on their way. It’s a simple setup with an old counter and some basic racks. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that struggle when it gets really hot in the afternoons. We just focus on running the shop and making sure we have what people are looking for.
