Reliance Gallery

Reliance Gallery is situated at Shop No 1 in Vikas Paradise, which is over in Mulund West. A good landmark for us is the Bal Rajeshwar Temple right across the road. It’s actually quite nice because the temple area brings a sense of calm even when the street is busy. Our shop is a straightforward retail space where we handle mobile connections and devices. We have the usual glass counters and some stools for customers to sit on while we fill out paperwork or look at their phones. It’s not a massive place, but we keep it tidy enough. During the festival seasons, the road outside gets really crowded with devotees, and the atmosphere is quite lively. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many people in the neighborhood grow up. We get a lot of aunties and uncles coming in who aren’t very good with smartphones, so we spend a lot of time explaining how to use WhatsApp or change their ringtones. We don’t mind it; it’s part of being a local shop. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but that’s just standard for this part of the city. We aren’t trying to be the biggest store in Mulund, just a reliable place where people can come and get their mobile issues sorted out without any fuss. The evening breeze from the park helps cool the place down.
