Rashi Arts

Rashi Arts is tucked away on Link Road in Kandivli West. We’re right next to Kamal Timber Mart, so you can usually smell the fresh wood when you’re standing outside our door. Across the street is the Lalji Pada Police Station, which makes it easy to explain our location to anyone coming by for the first time. We’ve been here for a bit now, doing our art-related work. It’s not a huge studio, just a comfortable space where we get things done. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a working space where there’s always a bit of a mess from whatever project we’re currently on. We handle a variety of creative stuff, mostly just figuring things out as we go. The Link Road traffic can be a lot sometimes, but we’re used to the noise. We prefer it this way, being right in the middle of everything in Kandivli. We aren't some big agency with a lot of talk. We’re just local people who like making things. Usually, we are busy with brushes or tools, or maybe just sitting at the desk trying to get a design right. It’s a steady pace of work. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It feels like a real community. If you’re ever near the police station, you’ll see our sign right by the timber yard. We just keep at it, one project at a time.
