We are over at Shop No. 15 on the second floor here at 127/129 Old Haniman. Getting up the stairs is a bit of a workout every morning, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. Madhuram Art has been in this spot for a while now. The walls are kind of cluttered and the lighting isn't always perfect, but we get the work done. It gets pretty loud outside with the street noise coming up from Old Haniman, especially during the afternoons when things pick up. Most people find us by asking around the neighborhood since the signs aren't as big as they should be. We usually have some tea around four and look out the window at the traffic below. The shop isn't fancy, just some desks and the tools we use every day. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. It is a small space, but it fits what we need for the art stuff we handle. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down most days of the week. Dealing with the paperwork and the regular walk-ins keeps us busy enough. There isn't much to say about the history, we just showed up and started working. If you're looking for us, just head to the second floor and look for number fifteen. The hallway is narrow, so watch your step.
