I work out of my place in Andheri West, specifically Flat No 201 in the L/1 B Wing of the Oakla building. It is located near Kemps Corner, not too far from Millat Nagar. This is a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads of Andheri. I have set up a desk in one corner of the flat where I handle all my business. It’s a personal way of working, mostly over the phone or meeting people for a quick chat in the neighborhood. The building is a bit older, and the elevator can be a bit slow, but it’s a comfortable spot. I’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, so I know where everything is. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with notebooks and pens scattered around. I don't have a staff or a big office, just me doing my thing. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear the sounds of families cooking nearby. It’s a very different vibe from a corporate office. People usually just call me directly on my mobile when they need something. I like the flexibility of working from home. I can see the trees from my window and the traffic moving slowly toward Millat Nagar. It’s just a regular life, trying to stay organized and get things done from my small space in the Oakla building.
