Rafique Arts

Rafique Arts has been in Bhandup West for quite a few years now. We are tucked away in Shop Number 1 at Dubey and Qureshi, near the Zakaria Compound. It’s a bit of a walk through Phase V, but once you find the 17th Cross and 36th Main, we are right there. Our shop is where we do all our painting and creative work. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by brushes, paint cans, and whatever project we are currently finishing up. It’s a small space, so things can get a little messy, but we know where everything is. We do a lot of signs and custom art pieces for local shops and people in the neighborhood. Some folks come in with a very specific idea of what they want, and others just have a rough sketch on a piece of paper. We just sit down and talk it through until we have a plan. It’s a quiet life mostly, just working with our hands and trying to get the colors right. The area around the shop is always lively with people moving back and forth, which keeps things interesting. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website, so we just rely on the work we do to bring people back. If you’re walking past Zakaria Compound, you can usually see some of our finished pieces drying near the door or leaned against the wall outside while we clean up.
