Pvshetty Foundation

Our office for the Pvshetty Foundation is on Dr E Moses Road in the Worli area of Mumbai. We are on the third floor of a building called Anand Niwas, which is at Plot 1/110. Worli is a very busy part of the city, so there is always noise from the street coming up to the windows. The building is an older one and has a lot of character. We don't have a huge staff here. It is mostly just a few of us working out of a couple of rooms. We handle all kinds of foundation work from this spot. It is not a fancy place with modern furniture or glass walls. We have old desks and shelves filled with papers. Sometimes the lift is slow, so we just walk up the three floors. It keeps us moving. We do a lot of community projects and this office is where we do all the planning and coordination. People from the neighborhood often stop by to talk or ask for help with different things. We like being in Worli because it is so central. You can get to almost anywhere in Mumbai from here. It is a practical location for the kind of work we do. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. There is no corporate talk here, just people trying to get things done. We usually have tea in the afternoons while we go through the mail.
