Punyakarma Foundation

We are situated in Goregaon West, right across from the Inorbit Mall. Our office is number 203 in the Yugdharma building on the Mulund Link Road. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of energy around. Mumbai is a fast place, and we try to keep up with it in our own way. We aren't some massive organization with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team of us working out of this office. We deal with various tasks throughout the day, mostly things that come our way through the local community. Being near the mall means people can find us easily, which is good. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many records and supplies stacked up, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our time coordinating different activities. Some days we are out on the streets, and other days we are stuck behind the desks doing administrative stuff. It’s honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just look at the problems people have and see if there's a practical way for us to help out. Life in Mumbai is tough for a lot of people, so we try to be a steady presence here in Goregaon. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the Yugdharma building has become like a second home to all of us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
