Priti Arts

My sister and I started Priti Arts right out of our home here at Flat A/001 in Dahisar. It’s on the ground floor, so it’s easy for folks to drop by when they need something done. We handle various creative things, mostly stuff involving paper and paint, but it changes depending on what people ask for. Living and working in the same spot keeps things simple. Some days it gets a bit crowded with supplies everywhere, especially on the floor. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the neighbors know us. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything, just this small space. If you are walking around Dahisar, you might miss us if you aren't looking for the ground floor flat. It is a quiet street usually. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready and then the afternoons are for the actual work. Sometimes the cats from the lane wander in, which is fine. We just do our work day by day. People come to us when they want something handmade or specific. It isn't a factory, just a couple of people making things. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paints get mixed up or we run out of a certain color. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small thing like this from your house. We also take orders over the phone.
