I work out of the Capri Building, specifically at number 9, which is in the 400006 area of Mumbai. It’s a typical Mumbai office building, meaning it’s always got something going on and the street outside is never quiet. I’ve been here for a while now, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. My office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a room with my desk, some chairs for visitors, and stacks of paper that I try to keep organized. People usually come to see me for business matters, and we just sit and talk through things. I don't use a lot of corporate jargon or act like I’m more important than I am. I’m just a guy running my business from a building in Maharashtra. The commute can be a bit of a hassle, but that’s just life in Mumbai. I like being in this part of the city because everything is close by, even if it takes a while to get there. I don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, I’m the one who answers the door. It’s an honest, simple way to work. I focus on what needs to be done each day and try to stay on top of things. It’s not a big empire, just my own corner of the city where I do my work. Mumbai is a big city, but you find your own little rhythm here.
