Pravin Mistry

My name is Pravin and I've been running this small place in Goregaon West for quite a while now. Most people know the area around Unnat Nagar because of the Eagle Shop, and we are just right there in Viratnagar. It's a busy corner of Bommanahalli on the 18th Cross. I started out doing small jobs and it just grew into what it is today. I don't really have a big staff or anything fancy. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers getting through the daily list of work that comes in from the neighbors. People stop by when they’re passing through the lane. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy around here, but we manage to keep things moving. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. It’s a simple setup. I spend most of my mornings setting things up and then the afternoon is for finishing tasks. If you are looking for the shop, look for the landmarks I mentioned because the street numbers can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in. Life in Mumbai is fast, but in this little part of Goregaon, we take things one day at a time. It isn't a huge operation, just a local spot where things get handled properly. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years.
