Praminal Family Foundation

We’ve been around Santacruz for a while now. The office is over at Old More Bunglow on Tagore Road, right at Plot 51. It’s a busy spot in Mumbai but we like it here. My family started this because we saw a lot of things in the neighborhood that needed a hand. It isn't a huge operation. We mostly just talk to people who come by and see what's going on. Some days are slow and others we have a lot of visitors. Santacruz West is a place where everyone knows everyone else eventually. We've stayed in this building for years and the walls could probably tell some stories. Being at 301 means we get a decent view of the street. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things running. We don't have a big fancy board or anything, just a few of us working out of the bungalow. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because of the address, but people find us. It feels right being here on Tagore Road. We don't do anything too complicated. Mostly we just listen to the folks who live nearby and try to be useful where it makes sense. It’s quiet in the mornings before the Mumbai traffic really gets going. We just take it day by day. If you’re walking past the bunglow, you’ll see our small sign. That's pretty much all there is to it. No big corporate plans or anything, just us.
