Pooja Art Gallery

Pooja Art Gallery is located at 383/A, Vasu Smriti. We are actually in the garage space there. It is in Khar West, specifically the Santoshi Nagar area near Maruti Chowk. It might seem strange to some to have a gallery in a garage, but it works for us. We have been here for some time now. Maruti Chowk is a busy little area, and we are just a short walk from there. We have all kinds of things on the walls. It is a small space, so it feels a bit crowded sometimes, but that is part of the charm we like. Khar West is a lively neighborhood to be in. We get a lot of local people walking by Santoshi Nagar who pop their heads in to see what is new. Vasu Smriti is an older building, and we like the feel of it. We don’t have fancy lighting or expensive floors. It is just a place for art. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the chowk, but it doesn't bother us much anymore. We spend our days arranging the pieces and talking to anyone who comes in through the door. It is a simple life running a small gallery like this. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just like being part of the community here in Khar. It’s been our home for a long time and we are happy with that.
