Plane Jar Welfare Foundation

Our foundation, Plane Jar Welfare Foundation, is located at 504 on the 5th floor of the Dosti Carnation building. This is part of the Dosti Acres complex in Wadala East, Mumbai. The zip code is 400037. Being on the fifth floor means we are a little bit away from the street noise, though in Mumbai, you can never really escape it. Dosti Acres is a pretty big residential area, and we have our office space tucked inside one of the towers. It’s a standard Mumbai setup. We have a few rooms where we keep the foundation’s things. There’s a lot of paper and some computers, but it’s not a high-tech lab or anything. We just sit here and do the work that needs doing. Wadala is a central place, so it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. The office is just a place for us to gather and plan out our welfare projects. We don’t have a big budget for fancy interiors, so the walls are mostly plain. It’s comfortable enough for a long day of work. We usually have the windows open when the weather is nice, though mostly the fans are on. It’s a real, working office. People come in, we talk about what needs to be done, and we do it. It’s just the daily life of the Plane Jar Welfare Foundation in Wadala.
