Piryanka Art

We are tucked away at 5 Rajesh Compound in Dahisar East. It’s a bit of an industrial-feeling area, but it suits us just fine. Piryanka Art isn't a fancy name, it's just what we call our setup here. The compound can be a bit dusty and loud with the other workshops around us, but once you step inside our space, it’s all about the work. Tables are set up for different tasks, and tools are hanging on the walls wherever they could fit. A showroom or a place for people to sit and wait comfortably isn't something we have. Most of the people who come here are looking for something specific to be made or fixed. Many hours are spent bent over our work, focusing on the small details. Sometimes the radio is on while we work, just to have some background noise. It’s a simple life. Marketing plans or social media pages aren't things we update all the time. Relying on doing a good enough job so people come back when they need something else is our strategy. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it a bit warm, but we just open the door and keep going. We are just a small group of people working hard in Dahisar. It’s honest work and we’re glad to have it. There is always something new to finish by the end of the day. It might be a bit messy in here but that’s how we like it. Just getting things done.
