If you are looking for us, we are in Room No 16 inside the Barucha Compound in Byculla. It is an old part of town, and the compound has a lot of history to it. Paul Art is a small operation, really just a room where we get to work on our projects. It is often a bit messy because art and craft work usually involve a lot of scraps, paint, and tools lying around. We don't mind the clutter though; it shows that things are happening. The lighting isn't always the best, but we make it work with a few extra lamps. Byculla is a noisy area, but once you step into the compound, it feels a little bit removed from the main road's chaos. We don't have a fancy storefront or a big glass window. Most people find us by word of mouth or by wandering into the compound and asking around. We just enjoy making things and seeing how they turn out. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, or the materials don't behave, but that is just how it goes when you work with your hands. There is no corporate ladder here, just us in a room doing what we know how to do. It is a simple setup, and we like it that way. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk, we just let the finished pieces speak for themselves.
