If you find yourself on Link Road in Lokhandwala, you might come across where we work. Participatory Learning And Actionnetwork Foundation is located in the Golden Chariot building. We are specifically in Wing A, up on the seventh floor in room A/703. Being in Andheri West means it is always busy outside. The noise from the street usually reaches us even up on the 7th floor, but you get used to it after a while. Lokhandwala is a fast place, and everyone seems to be in a hurry. Our office is just a regular setup where we handle our things. We spend a lot of time at our desks. Sometimes the elevator in Golden Chariot is slow, so we wait around and chat with the neighbors from the other offices. It’s a standard Mumbai building, a bit older but it works for what we do. We don't have any fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door so people know they’re in the right place. Working in Andheri has its ups and downs, mostly because of the commute, but being on the Link Road makes it easy to explain to people where we are. We just go about our business every day. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, typical office stuff really. Nothing too exciting happens, but we stay busy with the foundation work in our little corner of Mumbai. We like the local food stalls nearby for lunch.
