Padhye Arts

Padhye Arts is based in Radhakrishna Apartment, specifically at number 5. We are located in Dada Dadar West, which is a part of the city that always seems to be on the move. Being in an apartment building instead of a shop on the main road gives our workspace a different kind of feeling. It is much quieter than the street outside, which helps when we are trying to concentrate on our work. We usually have our materials spread out across the tables and there is always some project in the middle of being finished. People who live in Dada Dadar West know how the lanes work, so they find us easily enough. We have been here for a while and the neighbors in the apartment are used to us being around. It is not a big studio with a lot of staff. It is just a few of us working together in this residential space. We don't have big signs or fancy decorations on the walls. Most of our day is spent just focusing on the tasks at hand and making sure things are done right. Sometimes the light coming through the windows is perfect for what we are doing. We like being in this neighborhood because it has a lot of history and character. It’s just a simple place where we come to work every morning and stay until the job for the day is done. We keep things pretty quiet here.
