Pabs Foundation

We do our work out of Shop-62 in Satlaj Residency. It’s right there in Sector 35 of Kamothe, over in Navi Mumbai. Being a shop on the ground floor makes it really easy for people to just wander in, which happens a lot. Plot 08 & 8B is where the building is located. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of families and other small shops right next to us. Our space is small but we’ve learned how to make it work for us. We have a few desks squeezed in and some metal shelves for all our records and files. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a water cooler or a fancy coffee machine. We just have a small electric kettle for making tea when we need a break. Most of our day is spent talking to people or just catching up on paperwork. It’s simple work and we don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. Kamothe has grown so much lately, and we feel like we are a part of the local community here. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in Navi Mumbai. We don't have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy descriptions of what we do. We just tell it like it is. It’s a basic setup for our daily work and we like it.
