Our office is in A/103 at the Vriddhi building, which is part of the RSV society on Yari Road. If you know Versova, you know how busy it gets around here. Andheri West is always moving, but our little corner in the complex stays relatively okay. We have been here for a while now, working out of this flat. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment where space is always a bit tight, but we make it work for what we need. The neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. Being on Yari Road means we are close to the sea, though we don't spend much time looking at it. Most of the work happens on computers, as the name suggests. It is just a small group of us sitting around desks, handling things as they come up. We don't have any big corporate donors or a PR team writing fancy speeches for us. We just handle the day-to-day tasks that keep everything running. Sometimes the lift in the building is under repair, and we have to take the stairs, which isn't fun, but that's life in a housing society. We like being part of the local fabric here in Mumbai. It is a bit chaotic sometimes, but it feels like home. There's a chai stall nearby where we usually end up talking about the day's work.
