Om Sai Arts

Om Sai Arts is located right in the heart of Lal Baug. We are in Habib Terrace on the third floor of the B Wing. If you stand outside Bharatmata Theatre and look across Dr Ambedkar Road, that is where we are. Being in Lal Baug means things get incredibly busy, especially during certain times of the year when the festivals start. Our room, number 28, is often filled with paint, wood, and various art supplies. It is a small space for all the work we try to fit in there. We have been doing this for years, mostly learning as we go. It’s not about being professional artists in a gallery; it’s about making things that people in the neighborhood actually need. Whether it is a sign or some decorative piece, we just get it done. The building is old and the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we like the atmosphere here. There is a lot of history in these walls. We are just regular people who enjoy working with our hands and creating stuff. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. People just walk in or call us because they saw our work somewhere else. Mumbai 400012 is a place where you have to work hard to get noticed, and we’ve been here long enough to have our own little corner. We just take it one day at a time, finishing one project before starting the next without any big drama.
