Novelty Watch And Mobile Repairer

I run Novelty Watch And Mobile Repairer at Shop No 40 in the Hashim Building. We are right on Jogeshwari Station Road, which is part of the Fort area. It’s a very old building with thick walls. The shop is quite packed because I do both watches and mobile phones. People these days carry both, so it seemed like a good idea to fix both. The station road is always packed with commuters, so there is never a dull moment. I have one side of my bench for watch tools—tiny screwdrivers and oils—and the other side has the tools for phones. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the wires and spare parts. I have been in the Fort area for years. You meet all kinds of people here, from office workers to travelers coming from the station. The light in the Hashim Building isn't the best, so I have a couple of extra lamps on my desk. I don't do much advertising; people just see the sign when they are walking to the train. I grew up learning how to fix things from my uncle. He always said if something is broken, you should try to save it instead of throwing it away. That is what I do here every day. It’s a busy life but I enjoy the challenge of figuring out why a phone won't turn on or a watch won't tick.
