Nmrj Foundation

Down in Worli, we have our small office at the Nmrj Foundation. We are on the ground floor of Sarjan Plaza, which is at Plot Number 100 right on Dr Annie Besant Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there’s always the sound of horns and cars passing by. Being on the ground floor is handy because people don’t have to climb stairs or wait for an elevator to see us. The office itself is pretty simple. We have some desks, a cupboard for our files, and a small area where we can sit and talk. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for the three or four of us who are usually here. We spend our time trying to sort out various projects and talking to anyone who stops in for help. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when more than a couple of people arrive at once. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics to get things done. Most of us have been working together for a while now, so we know how to handle the busy days. We usually grab lunch from one of the nearby stalls and eat at our desks. It’s just a plain, hardworking environment where we try to stay focused on the tasks at hand. Nothing flashy, just us doing our bit every day to keep things running smoothly.
