Nirnay Community Integrated Developmentfoundation

Nirnay Community Integrated Developmentfoundation is based at House Number 163 in Umrane, which is in the Deola area of Nashik. We’ve been here for a while now, working out of this house. It’s not a big office building, just a regular place where we meet and talk about what the community needs. Nashik is a big place, but Umrane feels like home to us. We spend a lot of time walking around and talking to the farmers and families nearby. We aren't looking to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. Sometimes the work is slow and frustrating, especially when we’re trying to get things organized. But we keep going because we live here too. We see the same problems every day, so we figured we might as well try to fix a few. We don’t have a lot of staff. Mostly it’s just family and a couple of neighbors who have some free time. We eat lunch together and figure out what needs to be done next. It’s practical work. No big speeches or anything. Just helping folks with their daily struggles. If you come by House 163, you might find us drinking tea or looking over some papers. We aren't fancy and we don't try to be. We just want to be here for the people who need us in Deola. It’s a simple life and we are happy to be doing something that makes sense.
