If you know Byculla, you know how much history is in these streets. I’m Nikita G Nahar and my workspace is at 19/B. It’s a very old neighborhood and the buildings have that classic look that you don’t see much in the newer parts of the city. My office is small and practical. There aren't any bright lights or fancy decor. It's just a place to get work done. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I know most of the people on the block. We see the same faces every morning at the local shops. The workday here starts with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule. I don’t use any big fancy systems. I just keep a notebook and my computer. It’s simpler that way. Sometimes the traffic outside gets quite loud, especially when the trucks are moving through Byculla, but you learn to tune it out. I don’t spend money on big ads because I’d rather just do good work for the people who find me. It’s a one-person show for the most part. I handle the calls, the emails, and the visitors myself. It keeps me busy from morning until evening. By the time I lock up, the streetlights are usually already on. It's honest work and I'm glad to be here doing what I do without any extra fuss.
