The gallery is tucked away in Goregaon West, specifically in the Usmanpura area. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which is nice when you’re trying to look at things on the walls. Niche Art Gallery isn't some massive museum or anything. It’s just a space we’ve set up to keep things we find interesting. The light comes in through the front in the afternoons and hits the floor just right. We spend a lot of time just moving frames around and cleaning the glass. People from around Usmanpura sometimes wander in just to see what’s new. We don’t really make a big fuss about things. The walls are plain so the work can just sit there. Goregaon West can be a hectic place, but once you step inside here, it feels a lot slower. We handle everything ourselves, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up late at night. There’s always a bit of street noise from the neighborhood, children playing or a scooter passing by, but it fits the atmosphere. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit and we’ve gotten to know the regular faces. It’s just a simple place for art, and we like it that way. No big speeches or fancy events, just a room in Goregaon West with some art inside. It works for us and keeps us busy throughout the week.
