Jm Photography

Jm Photography is situated in Navapada, right near Ganesh Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every day. Our studio is tucked away in a spot that might be hard to find if you aren't looking for the Ganesh Nagar landmark. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve managed to fit in our backdrops and all the lights we need. The floor is covered in cables that we’re always tripping over, even though we try to tape them down. We spend a lot of time waiting for the right light or trying to get people to smile naturally. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we have a big family in for portraits. Then it gets pretty loud and chaotic. We have a small computer desk where we sit for hours going through images and trying to pick the best ones. There’s always a faint smell of dust and maybe some old chemicals from back when things weren't all digital. Navapada is a friendly area, and we often have neighbors stopping by just to chat for a bit. We don't have a fancy reception or a big sign outside. It’s just our little studio where we try to capture things as they are. It’s a simple life, but we enjoy the process of seeing things through a lens every day. It’s just how we live here in Navapada.
