Gagan Garun Photography

Gagan Garun Photography is based out of my place in Rupa Nagar. I'm in C103 Angleena Apartment on Sarojini Road. It's a nice spot in Vile Parle West, very close to the Santoshi Maa Temple. My living room is basically full of cameras, tripods, and lights. It's not a professional studio with a front desk. It's just where I do my editing and meet people to show them their photos. Sometimes the apartment gets a bit crowded when I have a lot of gear out. I spend a lot of time walking around the neighborhood. People know me here. I usually have a camera around my neck. The building is easy to spot if you know the temple. I do weddings, small parties, and sometimes just portraits for the neighbors. I don't have a big staff. It's mostly just me doing the shooting and the editing. I like the light in this part of town. The commute to different parts of Mumbai can be a bit much, so I'm glad to have a base here. I keep all my hard drives stacked up on a desk. It's a lot of work but I enjoy it. If you come by, you might hear the neighbor's TV or kids playing outside. It's just a regular home where I do my photography work. I don't use fancy backdrops, usually just the real world outside. That's how I like to take my pictures.
