Ameya Pradhan Photography

You can find us on Dalal Street right in the middle of Downtown. It’s a famous street, mostly known for the big financial buildings, but we are tucked in there too. Ameya Pradhan Photography is basically a room filled with cameras, tripods, and a lot of cables that we are always tripping over. The light coming through the windows in the morning is actually pretty good for what we do. Downtown is always noisy with people rushing to the stock exchange or grabbing lunch. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of screens or setting up backdrops for whatever shoot is happening that day. The office is a bit messy with old prints and gear bags everywhere. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address. Sometimes we go down to the street level just to get away from the computer for a minute. The building is old, like most things on Dalal Street, and the stairs creak when you walk up. We don't really have a set routine; some days we are out all day and other days we are just stuck here editing. It is a simple operation. We try to keep the gear clean even if the floor needs a sweep. It’s just us doing our thing in a very busy part of the city.
