Virajs Photography

Our spot is way up on the 13th Floor of Rtech 2. It’s inside Nirlon Knowledge Park in Goregaon East. Being that high up means we get a decent view of the area, especially the Western Express Highway. You can see the cars crawling along during peak hours. Virajs Photography is just a simple studio space. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We have some backdrops, a couple of lights, and our camera gear kept in bags. The floor is usually cluttered with cables if we are in the middle of something. Nirlon Knowledge Park is a big place, so it took us a while to get used to the layout ourselves. The elevators in Rtech 2 are usually fast, which is good when we are carrying heavy bags. It’s a corporate-looking building, but our actual room feels more like a workshop. We spend a lot of time sitting at the computer doing edits once the shooting is done. Goregaon East is a busy part of the city, and being just off the highway makes it convenient for coming and going. We don't have a secretary or anything. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. It’s a quiet place most of the time, away from the street noise because we’re so high up. We like the light that comes through the windows in the afternoon and stays until it gets dark.
