You’ll find us at Room 26 in Adim Majil, which is over on Wasilkhan Marg in the Suti Mohalla area of Nagpada. It’s a very old part of the city, and the building has a lot of history to it. Our space is small, and it’s usually filled with the smell of paint or whatever materials we are using that week. There isn't much room to move around because of all the frames and canvases leaning against the walls. We’ve been in this spot in Thalapathi Nagar for a long time. The streets outside are always narrow and full of people, but inside the room, it stays relatively quiet so we can focus. We do art work, mostly hands-on stuff that takes a lot of patience. It’s not a clean, modern studio. There are splatters on the floor and stacks of old sketches in the corner. The light in the room isn't always perfect, so we have some extra lamps clamped to the tables. We don't have a gallery or a big sign outside. You just have to know which door is ours in Adim Majil. We don’t really follow a strict 9-to-5 schedule. If a project is going well, we might stay late into the night. We get our supplies from the local markets nearby. It’s a humble place, but it’s where we feel most at home. We just keep making things and hope people like what they see.
