Mumbai Rejoice Foundation

Mumbai Rejoice Foundation is based out of Goregaon East. Our office is at B-2102 in the Db Woods building, which is on Krishna Vatika Marg. It is a fairly tall building, so being on the 21st floor gives us a decent view of the Goregaon greenery, at least when the smog isn't too thick. The building is called Db Woods, and it is a bit of a landmark in the Gokuldham area. Inside, the office is pretty basic. We have a couple of desks shoved against the wall and some shelves filled with old folders and binders. The lighting is a bit bright, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down to stop the glare on the screens. It gets a bit hectic around lunch when everyone is trying to use the small kitchen area at once. We usually just bring tiffins from home and sit around the main table talking about whatever was on the news that morning. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare depending on the trains, but once you get up to the office, it is a lot more peaceful than the street below. We don't really have any fancy decorations or anything. Just some calendars on the wall and a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. It is a functional space where we get our daily tasks done without much fuss. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the paperwork.
