Mumbai Art Gallery

Mumbai Art Gallery is situated over at Plot No 6 and 7 in the New Shantivan Building. We are located in Andheri West, which is a part of town that always feels like it is moving fast. We are quite close to the Laxmi Industrial Estate, so there are always lots of delivery vans and people working nearby. The gallery itself is a bit of a different pace compared to the busy streets outside. Inside, it’s mostly quiet, and we spend our time looking after the pieces we have on display. The New Shantivan Building is easy enough to find once you are in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that; it’s just a straightforward space where the art is the main thing you notice. Some people come in just to look around, and others are looking for something specific for their homes. We spend our days dusting frames, moving things around to make more room, and talking to people who drop in. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by different colors and shapes. The industrial estate nearby brings in a lot of different types of people, so you never know who might walk through the door. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just keeping the doors open and making sure the gallery stays in good shape. It’s a quiet corner of Andheri West, and we’ve been here for a while now. We keep the paintings safe and the floors clean.
