We are up on the second floor of the Shree Ganesh Darshan building. The address is 157/5, and our room is 208. Being in Kalbadevi means we are right in the heart of Mumbai’s old market area. It is always crowded and very loud outside, but that’s just how this part of the city is. The Msjds "Manav Seva Jeevdaya Foundation" has been in this office for a while. The stairs are a bit narrow and the building is old, but it has character. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning that works perfectly. Most days we just keep the windows open and hope for a breeze. Our work is simple and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of registers. It feels like a real Mumbai office from the old days. We don't have a big marketing team writing our stuff. This is just us telling you where we sit. Dealing with the traffic and the crowds is just part of the job here. We are just a few people trying to stay busy with the foundation’s work. If you find yourself in the busy lanes of Kalbadevi, you can find us on the second floor. It’s a humble spot, but it’s ours. We usually have some tea around four and keep things moving.
