Mda Education And Development Foundation

Our office is over in Kandivali East, right on Akruli Road. We're in Flat 303 at Spring Leaf, Building 6-B. It's a nice enough spot in Lokhandwala, though the traffic on Akruli Road can be a real headache during the rush hour. Mda Education And Development Foundation is basically a few people trying to help out with schools and learning stuff. We don't have a big staff at all. Most of the time it’s just two or three of us. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and local kids about what they need for their studies. It’s not all big meetings and plans; mostly it’s just making sure people have the right books or know where to go for help. The room is usually filled with stacks of papers and old folders. We've been here for a bit now, and the neighbors are used to people coming in and out. Mumbai is a tough place to get things moving, but we do what we can from our little corner in Kandivali. We aren't a big institution with a lot of money. We just have this flat and a few desks. We try to keep things practical. If a student needs something, we see if we can find a way to help. It’s pretty straightforward. No big speeches, just everyday work to help the neighborhood get a bit more ahead with education. We like staying close to the ground.
