Max Madhavan Foundation

We are based in Bandra West, right on Perry Road. The building is called Maker Mahal, and we are in unit 5B. If you know Bandra, you know Perry Road is one of those nice, leafy streets that everyone likes to walk down. It’s near Vinayak Marg too. Our office isn't very big, but it fits us just fine. It’s an older building with a lot of character, not like the shiny new apartments they are building down the road. We have been here for some time now. Working in Bandra is interesting because there is always something happening outside. We hear the birds in the morning and the rickshaws later on. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks. We have some old wooden shelves for our books and papers. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up to answer the door. We keep it simple and focus on what needs to be done each day. Sometimes we go down to the local cafe for a break. It is a good neighborhood to be in, and we feel lucky to have a spot here in Maker Mahal. It’s a quiet corner of a very busy suburb. We just do our bit of work and try to keep everything organized in our own way.
