Manpati Devi Social Welfare Foundation

The Manpati Devi Social Welfare Foundation is located in block number 102/C-2 of the River Park building in Rameshvadi. It’s a residential area, so it feels more like a home than an office. We do social work from here, mostly helping families in the neighborhood who are going through a tough time. It’s not a big operation. We have a few desks and some chairs where people can sit and tell us what’s going on. Rameshvadi is a busy place, and the River Park building is easy to find once you are in the area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around to meet people where they are. We don’t have a lot of fancy brochures or a big website. It’s more about word of mouth. Someone tells a neighbor about us, and they show up at the door. We try to help with whatever is needed, whether it’s food, school supplies, or just some advice on how to handle a problem. The office gets a bit cluttered with donations and paperwork, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just want to be a place where people in Rameshvadi can come when they don’t know where else to go. It’s just us in a small flat, doing what we can every day. We hope to stay here for a long time.
