Manna Welfare Foundation

The Manna Welfare Foundation is located in Sahar, Andheri East. We’re in a place called Ren Villa on Road No. 2. It’s in the Church Pakhadi area, which has a bit of a village feel even though it’s in the middle of Mumbai. We like it here because it’s not as cold as those big office blocks. The office is just a regular room in the villa where we manage all the welfare work. Being near the church, it’s usually quite peaceful, though you can hear the planes from the airport nearby since it’s Sahar. We have some old desks and plenty of files. People come by to talk about welfare stuff quite often. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors are used to seeing us. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes the lanes around Church Pakhadi get a bit narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze for cars. Most of us just walk or take a rickshaw. It’s a very local atmosphere. We spend our days making sure the foundation’s work keeps moving forward. It’s a humble place, but it works for what we do. We don’t need anything fancy to help people out. The villa has a nice vibe that makes the work feel more personal. We just get on with our things every single day.
